Oregon has seen a bunch of popularity in the last 5-6 years at least. Property values have been increasing at a steady rate. The homes for sale in Oregon right now have been going fast. We are seeing much of the state in a seller- market.

With 70% of Oregon’s population in the Willamette Valley, Salem is a great place to live. Out of the way and at a crossroads. Easy to get to the coast or central Oregon, north and south on I-5.

Salem is the capital of Oregon. With plenty of government in town the jobs sector stays more stable. The housing market seems to follow. If your city or town sees a bunch of inflation, chances are it could fall as fast in a recession.

Wilsonville on I-5 is where prices start to increase headed to Portland. Woodburn has been growing at a great rate due to its proximity to the bigger city. The Outlet Mall has been an incredible attraction to people as well as many businesses.

The Woodburn Estates is a community in Woodburn for seniors over 55. They have a yearly charge of about 500.00 that goes to the HOA. With membership you have use of the golf course and many other amenities. Most places in the community are about 800 square feet with two bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Some of the new homes being built now are single level homes, popular with the baby boomers. The retirement of the baby boom generation will affect so much. Two billion people retiring in the next 10 years is bound to do that.

Many people lately have been looking for Dallas Oregon real estate acreage. With the covid going around folks are looking for more room. Dallas is a great area, closer to the beach and about 15 minutes to Salem. AS of this writing I have a 30-acre building site with a bunch of timber by Dallas, very low price.

Dallas Oregon doesn’t have much industry, still a small town. Lately they have been improving the roads and sidewalks and planter areas in city center. Looks pretty good.

Dayton Oregon is a small town not to far from Portland. The popularity of this small town has increased with the popularity of the grape industry. Dundee in my opinion is where it began.  The McMinnville Oregon real estate for sale lately has been limited. McMinnville has a main street in the center of town that took second place for the best main street in the US. McMinnville has the Air Museum where you can see the Flying Goose, Howard Hughes monster plane the Spruce Goose. This is a great town for a wine tour.
