Land in Oregon
As with any state, property values have a lot to do with demand. We have land for sale in Oregon that you can spend little on and do little with. On the other hand, we have some that is very nice pieces.
The Willamette Valley has about seventy percent of Oregon’s population in it. This is where you will find some of the most popular land and most fertile soils.
I sell a bunch of Land in Oregon. With my Grandpa being the State Forester for Oregon and my Dad being a Forester and land surveyor, my background help’s a bunch. At any time, I will have building sites, farm land, timber land and just about anything in between.
Some of the most popular land in Oregon right now is ground that grapes and Filberts can be grown on. The wine industry is huge here and the popularity of filberts is growing with the demand. Many are planting orchards here in the Willamette Valley.
If you are looking for land in Oregon say for a building site, a two-acre parcel, as most are looking for will cost about 200 to 250 depending on location, slope, view and a few other things. Generally, this land will require a well and septic system, just check with your local county sanitation department as to the process.
